I told you didn't I, I said that I'd forget about this, and I did. Just more proof that I am always right. Now don't go thinking that I'm some freak with a massive ego, because I'm not. I just have an abnormally high opinion of myself and my capabilities. That's a joke by the way, 'something said or done to make people laugh' as according to the dictionary. Anyway, I'm sure that even though I could go on all day about how hilariously humorous I am blessed to be, you probably 'sniff' couldn't care less, 'floods of tears'.
So...I am going to write about something else. Once when I was in year four, a sweet innocent little 8 year old, I was sitting in the classroom listening to my teacher as if she were a priest quoting the bible that I was such a dedicated follower of, or as if she were Robert Pattinson reading Breaking Dawn out-loud and I was an obsessed fan that just wanted to reach out and stroke his arm..., or as if she were a bored teacher reading a question and I was an equally bored student who by law had to listen, take your pick. It was one of those days where she was in the mood for marking our test papers, and that meant we had to join in as it saved her the trouble. So there we were, all scrabbling for multi coloured pens and suchlike, so that we could mark our assessments which was obviously what we'd all been dying to do as we cared so much about our education and not at all about how there was pizza and chips for lunch. My teacher was rambling on about a question much like the following: Do you think Superman liked the pizza and chips that his mum brought home form school? Circle either Yes or No and explain your answer.
My teacher told us that in that sort of a situation we should always answer yes, even if we were absolutely convinced that Superman hated pizza and chips and would rather dive-bomb into a vat of Kriptonite that go anywhere near the stuff, we should still answer yes. It would be easier, she told us, to write all the things you thought a character liked about a certain situation than disliked. Now, at the time we all drank this in like well trained puppies, but more recently I've started to wonder. There are somethings in this world that I would find it easier to write things that I didn't like about than things that I did. I'm not saying that Superman does or doesn't like pizza and chips, I'm not even saying that he would fancy dive-bombing into a vat of Kriptonite, I'm just saying that maybe that wasn't quite the right thing to tell a group of 8 year olds who went on to do rather badly in their English SATS exam. That's all. Tschus.
My Blog, that's all it is. If anyone reads it, well then that's great, but I really don't care if they don't. I'll probably forget about it soon enough anyway. However if you ARE reading this and you AREN'T me, then hey :)

Blog Entry 1 - Facebook
Facebook. A website that, at first, I was reluctant to join. I didn't see the point to be frank. I like the internet as much as the next person, but the whole idea behind this website seemed to be adding people you met once, never talking to them and asking your friends to delete embarrassing pictures of you. But that was before I got a Facebook page. The whole adding people, deleting embarrassing pictures thing still seems to be a major part of it, but since I've realised there is more to it. For example, another 'key' part of Facebook is setting your 'status' to Boreddd, Like this and I'll tell you what I like/ dislike/ wish about you and then preceding to tell all the people that you've only met once and never speak to that You're funny, we don't talk much, wish we didd.
